By accessing or using QuizKai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Description of Service

QuizKai is an AI-powered quiz generation platform that allows users to:

• Take quizzes from predefined categories (Free tier)
• Upload study materials (PDF, DOCX) to generate custom quizzes (Pro tier)
• Create quizzes on any custom topic (Pro tier)
• Track progress and compete on leaderboards

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activities or actions under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

QuizKai offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Access to 25+ quiz categories, unlimited quiz plays, and leaderboard access.
• Pro Tier (€6.99/month or €69.99/year): All free features plus document upload, custom topic quizzes, and personal study library.

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. User Content and Uploaded Materials

When you upload documents or create custom content on QuizKai:

• You retain ownership of your original content
• You grant QuizKai a license to process your content for quiz generation purposes
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and upload the content
• We do not share your uploaded materials with third parties
• Uploaded content is stored securely and can be deleted at any time

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use QuizKai to:

• Upload copyrighted material you do not have rights to use
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the AI systems
• Harass other users or distribute spam
• Use the service for academic dishonesty or cheating

7. AI-Generated Content

QuizKai uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• QuizKai is a learning tool and should not be the sole source of information for critical decisions
• We continuously work to improve the quality and accuracy of generated content

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall QuizKai or Jonkai Ventures OÜ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
